BACKGROUND
I’ve been drawing since I was in diapers; before I learned language, I was finger-painting (not very well, obviously). Creating has always come naturally, and the juxtaposition between organic forms and industrial materials most inspires me. That tension of softness and structure, organic waves and rigid lines, is something I’m always trying to find balance in. Sketching helps me explore balance in art and how I approach all of my design work.
INTEGRATION
I start every project I do with sketches and drawings regardless if I'm working on logos, prints, packaging, or products. Drawing helps me find connections, discover flow, and adds a human touch that starting digitally often misses.
